Hi, I'm Eric.
If you’ve spent any time on my site or seen me at the Memorial Villages Farmer's Market, you know that I live and breathe the smell of fresh hide and the sound of a hammer on a punch. I love what I do. But as a one-man shop, I often get asked a tough question: "Eric, do you do wholesale?"
The answer is a resounding yes, but we do it differently.
In a world where "wholesale" usually means ordering 500 units of something machine-pressed in a factory overseas, I wanted to build a program that reflects the way I actually work. I’m not interested in being a mass producer. I’m interested in being a partner to boutiques and companies that value grit, honesty, and materials that will outlast the person holding them.
Whether you are looking for handmade leather goods wholesale for your storefront or corporate gifting leather items that your clients won't just toss in a drawer, here is how we can work together.
How It Works: The Boutique Test Run (The 5-Unit Pilot)
I know the risk involved in bringing a new artisan into your shop. You have shelf space to manage and budgets to watch. That’s why I’ve done away with the "massive minimum order" requirement.
Instead, I offer what I call the Boutique Test Run.
It’s a simple, 5-unit pilot program. You pick one SKU, maybe it’s The Highland Nomad or a handful of our minimalist wallets, and we see how they perform in your space. No 50-unit commitment. No complex contracts. Just five pieces of my best work on your shelf to see if your customers love the feel of the leather as much as I do.
If they sell out (and they usually do), we move into a more traditional wholesale relationship. If they don’t fit your vibe, we’ve both learned something without you being stuck with a box of inventory. It’s as crisp and straightforward as a cold soda on a 100-degree Texas afternoon.

Small Batch, One-Man Shop Quality
When you buy from The Kilted Leatherworker, you aren't dealing with a sales rep or a middleman. You’re dealing with me. Little did I know when I started this leatherworking journey that the "one-man shop" aspect would be my greatest strength in the B2B world.
Every single item that leaves my bench is hand-cut, hand-burnished, and hand-inspected. When a corporate client orders twenty of The Chronicler’s Cover, they aren't getting twenty identical, soulless clones. They are getting twenty unique pieces of heritage, each with its own character in the grain.
I believe in ensuring every stitch is perfect. If I wouldn't carry it myself into the woods or to a business meeting, I won't ship it to your store. This level of quality control is only possible because I keep things small. I’m not trying to take over the world; I’m just trying to make the best leather gear in Texas, one step at a time.
The Core Lineup: Starter Packs and SKUs
While I do take on custom orders, my wholesale and corporate gifting program focuses on our most "adventure-ready" items. These are the pieces that have been field-tested and customer-approved.
1. The Highland Nomad (Belt Pouches & Sporrans)
Our flagship item. Perfect for the modern adventurer or anyone who wants a rugged alternative to a pocket-stuffer. These are popular in heritage boutiques and gift shops that cater to outdoorsmen or the Highland community.
- Wholesale Pack: 5 Units (Assorted colors: Black, Brown, Tan)
- Best for: Boutique retail, adventure gear shops.
2. The Chronicler’s Cover (Burgundy Leather Journal Sleeve)
This is my go-to for corporate gifting leather. It fits a standard A5 notebook and makes an incredible impression in a boardroom or a field office.
- Wholesale Pack: 10 Units
- Best for: Real estate closing gifts, executive retreats, stationary shops.

3. The Wayfarer’s Tote (Hand-Stitched Carry-all)
If you want to truly wow a high-value client or a long-term employee, The Wayfarer’s Tote is the answer. It’s a workhorse of a bag that only looks better with age.
- Corporate Pack: 3 Units
- Best for: High-end employee recognition, luxury boutiques.
4. Minimalist Wallets & Card Holders
The "gateway" leather good. These are fantastic "impulse buys" at a register or as a "thank you" gift for a mid-sized team.
- Wholesale Pack: 15 Units (Mixed styles)
- Best for: General retail, "stocking stuffer" season, event favors.
Corporate Gifting: Personalization & Branding
I understand that for corporate gifting, you often need to represent your own brand alongside mine. I love collaborating on this. We can discuss embossing your company logo, adding initials for a personal touch, or selecting specific hardware to match your company’s aesthetic.
I’ve found that many of my corporate clients are tired of the "standard" plastic-heavy gifts. They want something that says, "We value this relationship, and we expect it to last as long as this leather does." There is something about the weight of a solid brass Chicago screw and the pull-up of a premium hide that communicates value in a way a branded pen never will.

Understanding "Artisan Pacing" (Lead Times)
This is the "honest" part of my rugged and honest tone. Because I am a one-man shop, I don’t have a conveyor belt. I have a workbench.
I call my schedule Artisan Pacing. Typically, for a wholesale pilot or a corporate order of up to 20 units, I ask for a 7–14 day lead time. Larger orders may require a bit more breathing room. I’ll always give you a straight answer on when I can get your gear to the post office.
(As you may have guessed, I'd rather tell you "no" and keep my quality high than say "yes" and ship you something I'm not proud of.)
We ship all wholesale orders via tracked and insured methods. For larger corporate orders, we can discuss "FOB Shipping Point" terms to ensure your logistics team has everything they need for a smooth delivery.
Why Partner With The Kilted Leatherworker?
There are bigger shops out there, but there aren't many that will give you the level of personal attention that I will. When you email me, you’re emailing the guy who is actually going to be cutting the leather for your order.
I take immense pride in being part of your story. Whether I'm helping you stock your dream boutique or helping you celebrate a company milestone, I treat your business with the same respect I treat my own.
I love seeing my work go out into the world. It’s a genuine wonder to me that a hide can start on my bench in Texas and end up in a boutique in New York or a boardroom in London. I’m grateful for every single partner who helps make that happen.
