Honest material
Leather selected for character, strength and the kind of patina that only comes with time.
The maker
The Kilted Leatherworker began with a need, a workbench and a first sporran.
When family medical expenses demanded more than a day job could provide, Eric Tankersley turned to a craft he had already begun to love. That work became a small Texas leather goods business built on skill, integrity and material that gets better with use.
Each piece is cut, tooled and finished one at a time. There are no production runs or shortcuts, just a patient process and a useful object waiting to be carried.
The name is a nod to Scottish heritage and the pride of wearing your identity openly. The work carries that same spirit: rooted in tradition, made for real life.
